Meet Mrs. Dilick

My name is Trisha Dilick and this will be my 18th year as a full-time teacher with the Armstrong School District. I started my career at Kittanning Township Elementary in 3rd grade. I then moved to Elderton Elementary in 4th grade.  Then I transferred to West Hills Intermediate for one year before finding a home at Lenape Elementary. I received my undergraduate degree from Penn State University and my Master's degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

I am originally from Brookville, PA and I currently live in Tarentum, PA.  My wonderful husband Josh is a software engineer. We have three crazy cats, Taiga, Lulu, and Riku which I love dearly. If you step into my room you will know that I love turtles and the beach. I am very passionate about reading, I read about 40 books a year and love to share that passion with my students.

I believe that students need to be able to create the learning environment that is best for them. That is why in my classroom we have flexible seating.  Each day the students pick the type of seat that works best for their learning style. We have exercise balls, standing tables, low tables with rugs and pillows, stools, and much more.  This environment allows the students to move around, get comfortable, and work to their best ability. I look forward to you visiting my room to check it out for yourself.
