Meet the Teacher
My name is Mrs. Gulish and this will be my 16th year of teaching full-time with the Armstrong School District. I have been at Lenape Elementary from the beginning of my career teaching fifth grade ELA. I received my undergraduate degree from Clarion University and my Master's degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
I am originally from Rural Valley, PA and I currently live near Crooked Creek Lake. I am married with two kids and one dog. I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, kayaking, exercising, and reading by our pool in the summertime.
My goals in the classroom this school year are to help all students (especially struggling readers) to be successful, help all students to self-reflect and meet learning goals, and to make reading and writing fun! :)
