Math 24

Math 24 Tournament

for Grades 4-6

Each year Armstrong School District students participate in the fast-paced Math 24 tournament, which is an academic competition for students in grades four through six.

The game requires not only math skills, but the ability to think quickly under pressure. To play the game, the students must add, subtract, multiply and divide four numbers on a game piece to arrive at the number 24. During the competition, three to four students will be seated around a table. The first person to discover the solution must be the first to touch the card and then explain how they arrived at the number 24.
